Project Information:
Name: Auke Bay Fire Station Exterior Upgrades
Location: 11900 Glacier Highway, Juneau Alaska

Scope of Work: Removal of existing plywood siding, installation of new exterior grade plywood, installation of metal wall panels, associated building wrap and furring. A good portion of the exterior will get a brick wainscot. Existing exterior metal doors and operable windows will be removed and replaced with new insulated metal doors and vinyl windows. Electrical work includes replacement of exterior light fixtures and the installation of new CT enclosure and meter base. The work also includes removal of existing ballasted membrane roof, insulation layers and removal of original roof, down to structural plywood decking. A new adhered membrane roof, insulation and metal flashing and accessories will be installed. Two small wood-framed exterior canopies over man doors will be constructed. The existing hose tower exterior upgrades include a new standing seam metal roof with metal wall panel assemblies as well.
