Goldbelt Hotel Renovation

Project Name: Goldbelt Hotel Renovation
Location: 51 Egan Drive, Juneau Alaska
Owner: Goldbelt, Inc.
Project Manager: Chad Strong
Scope of Work: The owner engaged interior design experts Karen Earl Interior Design to design and supply materials for a renovation to the hotel guest rooms, guest corridors, lobby area, 1st floor conference room and the conversion of two suites into a board room/additional meeting space and a newly offered fitness room.  NPE's role as Construction Manager and General Contractor is to provide pre-construction services as well as the labor and subcontractor oversight in the overall renovation.

The project consists of the removal and installation of existing wall finishes, window treatments, flooring, light fixtures and all guest room furnishings.  This means the hotel will be receiving new beds & bedding, new desks, upgrades from their older TVs to 42" HDTVs, new desks, hospitality cabinets, luggage racks, night stands, mini-refrigerators, mirrors, artwork and more.  Pre-construction services commenced in late January 2013 and construction got underway on April 29, 2013.  Renovations were completed in mid-September, but stay tuned, the lobby will be undergoing some more updating this fall/winter!
